Why was WattPayoff built?
To let people monitor their energy use precisely and save on their bills. Awele, an early electric-vehicle adopter and solar energy user, spent years understanding his own usage and PG&E's rate tariffs, until he could predict his bills accurately. He then built that knowledge into a public app so others interested in optimizing their energy use could benefit too.
